Research Update

The Foundation for Metabolic Cancer Therapies has funded a remarkable study combining oxaloacetate with various metabolic therapies. The results were so compelling that a larger and more comprehensive study was commissioned and is currently underway.

We will present the results as soon as we possibly can. On another front, SCSC is in talks to fund a "dream" study that would combine metabolic therapies and other drugs, both on and off-label. This cocktail approach is gaining traction. The logic is explained in this video. In Vincent DeVita's new book, The Death of Cancer, he talks about the limitations of the current monotherapy approach to cancer drug development, and believes the path forward will be in combinations. DeVita was one of the pioneers of combinational chemotherapy to treat childhood leukemia and Hodgkin's disease. The Care Oncology Clinic in London is part of a study to prove the efficacy of the combination approach. This article talks about the study that is designed to measure the effect of 5 cheap, and off-label drugs. There are many exciting and hopeful trends in oncology right now. I want to thank everybody for their support. We have received some incredibly generous donations from many people. Travis
